| POSSESSIVES \"of\" or \"\'s\" - Possessive \"of\" or \"\'s\" is של (shel). האח של יורם [/b) Haach shel Yoram. (Yoram\'s brother) הסלולרי של מייק Hacelulari shel Mike. (Mike\'s cell-phone) Notice that the thing possessed comes first!!! | של מי / whose - *listening to Eyal Golan \"Yafa Shelli\"* :D Ok... Now we get to combine demonstratives that we have learned \"ze/zot/ele\" with possessives. We\'ll learn to ask \"Whose ... is this/are these?\" The question structure is as follows: של מי + noun + demonstrative **DO NOT forget to put \"ה\" (the)in the beginning of your noun and the demonstrative! ledugma: של מי המחברת הזאת? (Shel mi hamachberet hazot?) -Whose notebook is this? NOTE that since machberet is a feminine noun we use zot!!! And the answer... המחברת הזאת של מיכאל (Hamachberet hazot shel Michael.) -This notebook is Michael\'s. Two more examples: של מי המילון הזה? המילון הזה של יצחק. (Shel mi hamilon haze? / Hamilon haze shel Itzchak.) של מי המשקפים האלה? המשקפים האלה של נטלי. (Shel mi hamishkafayim haele? / hamishkafayim haele shel Natali.) להתראות :) | |
