| This Summer in Israel - I just signed up to this program recently, so I figured I should explain a little why I'm learning hebrew before jumping into all kinds of crazy requests... This summer I'm attending a 10 day birthright program in Israel and then I'm volunteering in a Youth Village for 2 months. Exciting stuff...except for the whole language barrier thing. Hopefully, with all of your help I won't be completely isolated Anyways, if anyone has tips on what kinds of things to read or do to improve my communications skills it would be greatly appreciated. If you have tips on what to do in and near Natanya that would be cool too! Oh yeah, Happy New Year! | |
