Hebrew When To Use What

when to use what: my question is since there are two words for the English equivalent of "nothing" when do I use כלום
and when do I use שום דבר
??
Kinda confusing and no one of my (hebrew-speaking) friends could tell me when to use what word.

Well actually you can use both however you wish IMO... just choose one randomally :)
There is absolutely no difference.

By the way I'm Tomer, I speak Hebrew, and I just found out about this forum 5 minutes ago.. Hope I can help sometimes :)
