| DEVANAGARI GAME!!! - NAMASTE नमसते Ok so... here s my idea for a new game. We all want to learn to talk and to understand it, but we haven t tried anything with the script, so... I was thinking... maybe we could have a game like this: I ll write a word in devanagari, and the next person chooses any letter from that word (with the devanagari script) and posts another word that starts with any letter from the previous, for example: a word that we all know दिल (dil - heart) next person chooses any letter they want from those, again example starting with the letter ल : लड़की (ladhki - girl) But you could also use the long I to start another word... u choose , this way we have lots of options, and we can try to use letters that we don t commonly use, or that we don t have in the regular alphabet that we all know (western alphabet I think) I know that not everyone has a way to write it, but those of us that can will be able to do it, and we will learn also the way words are written, coz I don t know about you guys, but I could really use the practice here. And also we can get a little more used to it, don t you think? Oh and also, we can write the meaning of the word after so that we also know it. So... I ll start here : आदत - habit aadat Next person chooses the letter they want to go on with the game... just use devanagari. I hope you guys like my idea. | |
