i think this is best explained basic grammer

just a suggetion, that when you use joint words like kursiyaan , wirte it with caution !!! kursiyaan is written in another way, not like you have written !! well everything else is more than perfect !

now even i am waiting for another lesson from you :p

and yeah, i dont think you need to post alphbets here, i am sure most of people already have done that part !!!

enjoy !!!

Yes....The lessons are great.
It's really useful for me, even when it takes me long time to understand every explanation.
It's great to know that you two are always correcting and helping us.
Thank you! :)

Thankyou: Lesombresdeschats thank you for the lessons. They are really helpful. Useful for being able to refer to when writing my own sentences to make sure I'm right. Of course, as it shows in my sentences in The Game thread, I'm not correct !!!!
Fun trying anyway.

Sue

Hindi Grammar: Lesombresdeschats these lessons are gold!!!
Really great.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write them all up.
It must take a long time.

Also, I looked at the languages you are fluent in and the ones you are learning .......... you are amazing.
Good luck in them all.

Sue

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!: I really appreciate the sincere compliment. I'm very happy to hear that you are enjoying the lessons and that you do benefit from them. :) It is compliments like yours that make me glad I am doing what I do. I plan on being a university professor in France one day. Just finishing up my degree work and will be moving there soon. I am going back to the University in a year to pursue my degree in Hindi and Arabic to complement the French degree. I should then be all set over in France. The fact that I am helping people like you makes me feel like I should make a great professor one day :) Thank you again for your very kind words :)

Another great lesson: Thanks Shawn, for another fine lesson. I can't be online so much during the week, as I work, but I do study the lessons and by the weekend should have some sentences to try out, I hope.

cheers,
Sue

Nice lessons lesombresdeschats! I will print them now! :)

But it's more useful if you write it word by word, I mean:

main yahaan huun = main -> here, yahaan -> am huun -> I
Here I am.
मैं यहां हूं।

I know it's not right, did you get the idea? :)

Thanks: Thanks for the compliment Ivan. I don't post word by word because if you notice from my lessons, I use simple words over and over again so that you will have learned the meanings of the words by this point in my lessons. I also have the thread with the vocabulary lists where a good majority of all the words in my lessons are defined for you, as well as my thread for asking questions on my grammar lessons is there for that reason. :) Thanks again for your compliment and I hope you learn well from the lessons. Will be posting more each day. If you ever have any questions on the lessons you can ask me on the "Grammar Questions" thread I started or you can send me a private message.

Thanks,
Shawn

Yes, that's the problem, if you delete your account, all your posts are gone with it. :( (That's why Neila is still alive...)

OH god, I was away for too long. Does anyone know why Shawn left? His lessons were really great! Did anyone copy them so that s/he could post them again in this thread? (or send them to me via email? my email-id is alltowaste at yahoo dot com)

Edit: Thanks to Shawn and Gaby for sending the lessons and to Maree for offering to send them to me

Perhaps there should be a refresher course all around. Wonder how long before that mistake is edited out - hmmmm...

Let's keep the topic to Hindi grammar, please. Thank you...
