Indic Online Resources - Namaste

I'm sure many of you use search engines to find online resources for all languages.
That is how I found this site, one of my favorites :)
However, going through the 100s of returns is taxing.
Thought I would post the most beneficial resources I have found on phrasebase.com
& the net related to Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, etc. here
- with brief descriptions of relevance.
Anyone wishing to add to the list, please do.
And MUCH THANKS out to all who have contributed
to the HINDI SECTION of phrasebase.com and all of phrasebase.com.
It is the most beneficial, friendliest, fun & enlightening site I've found thus far.

MY LANGUAGE EXCHANGE CLUB LIBRARY - you can set the languages to learn phrases that have
been recorded by members at this site. You don't have to become a member to use this tool. Fare warning for those of you that are easily offended by "adult" Rated R content: there are some "adult" phrases listed on this site in the Hindi section of phrases and I'm sure many other languages as well. I was somewhat surprised the moderators left the content posted but hey! Free Speech Rocks!!! I mention this because I just don't want anyone to go there and be caught of guard by some of the phrases. Overall, it really isn't that informative. It's repetitive and many phrases can be found elsewhere and probably more correctly phrased. However, there are new users everyday and new additions to this particular phrase index may be found.

- okay, i'll add two Hindi-ressources:

A door into Hindi
I personally think that the site is quit good, I started learning with this site but after a while I found it very annoying that I always have to switch on my computer if I want to learn. That's why I bought a book instead "Teach yourself Hindi", but the site is said to be based on TYH.
You'll find sound-files for most of the vocabulary, a video-file for every lesson and more things, but the last time I visited the site lacked some exercises.

an English-Hindi/(Telugu) online-dictionary, you need to know some Itrans-rules to use it. You'll find the rules if you click on the Help-"button" on this site.

- Hey! Thanks for the input!
Yeah, I use wordanywhere too but the returns are taxing
because then you have to look up which one is appropriate usage of word if you get a return at all but I do use it a lot. Anything is better than nothing. I'm ashamed to say I haven't bought a text book yet but I'm a Libra, we can never make a decision.
There's also a list of commonly used Hindi phrases there at wordanywhere that I use a reference.
Again, thanks for the add on and keep it up! and the book suggestion.
