- I think you\'re asking for suffixes and prefixes - i don\'t actually know which ones exist in Hindi, but here\'s what i know:

-kar - at the end of a verb, it changes it to the absolutive. Jaana + -kar = jaakar = having gone.

-vala - i know it has more meanings than this, and i\'ll elaborate after i\'ve revised it. But at the end of some words, it\'s the same as the english \"-er\" or \"man\". For example: \"duudhvala\" = milkman

I can think of some prefixes, but i\'ll have to revise them before I explain them here.

Then you posed some words/parts of words which i believe could be classified under etymology (the history of a word). Well, there i\'m of course limited in knowledge, but as i\'m sure you know, Hindi has three main sources for its words: Sanskrit, Persian/Arabic and English. (similarly English has various sources, mainly Latin/Greek and German). All Hindi words with क़, ज़, फ़ and ग़ are mainly Persian/Arabic. Words of Sanskrit origin have letters such as क्ष, ष, ः, ऋ etc. and are generally used only in formal context.

As for English words, well, I\'m sure all of us students had fun with those. But it\'s not formal, from what I understand, and it\'s always just generally better to learn the proper Hindi word (otherwise why not just speak English?).
