pronunciation?: hi everyone, new here.

have been looking up icelandic pronunciation on the internet while waiting for the phrasebook i ordered, but contradict eachother from one website to another(or maybe there are multiple pronunciation possibilities that some sites don't take into account? )

here are some of them:

: "ye" like in yes / "ee" like in been
u: like German in fr, or French u in tu / 'u' in the french 'leur' (speaking french fluently, i know that those two do not sound the same at all )

thanks for the help
