Icelandic: Does anyone know of any good computer software for learning Icelandic? If so, please give me some recommendations.

Icelandic sources: You might want to go to www.icelandic.hi.is This is a online course at the University of Iceland at their website and it is free.

Also, there is an Icelandic/English dictionary that you can get at Borders. The ISBN# for that is 0-87052-801-7 I found that to be most helpful.

There is an audio CD with book that you can get as well it is called Teach Yourself Icelandic. The ISBN# for the audio CD with book is 0-07-141896-2 That is great for hearing how to pronounce Icelandic and helping you read and write it as well.

There is also a bookstore at the University site that will give you more selections. If you email them they are very quick to answer any of your questions and are helpful at answering any questions about which books are the best to start with.

I hope that I have helped get you started. Good luck to you.
