StÃ³rir StrÃ¡kar FÃ¡ Raflost - i dont know anything about the icelandic language but i downloaded some mp3s from "rokk í reykjavík", and i liked them too much. i want to ask if anyone could translate this lyrics from a song called "Stórir Strákar Fá Raflost" by Egó:

Þeir hringdu í morgun
sögðu að Lilla væri orðin óð.
Að hún biti fólk í hálsinn,
drykki úr þeim allt blóð.
Hún hafði sagt hún gæti ekki dottið,
hún hefði engan stað að detta á.
Hún sagðist breytast í leðurblöku,
að hún flygi um loftin blá.

Læknirinn var miðaldra,
augun í honum voru grá.
Hann djönkaði sig með morfíni,
sagðist hafa unnið hér í fimmtán ár.
Þá órólegu geymdu á deild,
sem var sérhönnuð fyrir þá.
Það átti að setja Lillu í raflost,
hann bauð mér að horfa á.

Stórir strákar fá raflost….

Gangastúlkurnar hvæstu
og sýndu í sér tennurnar.
Þær skipuðu mér að fara í rúmið,
sögðu: tími komin á pillurnar.
Ég sagði þeim að ég væri gestur
að ég væri á leiðinni heim.
Þær skelltu mér með látum í gólfið
sögðu svo: þú ert einn af þeim.

Á kvöldin kemur læknirinn
segist vera vinur minn.
Segir: þú verður að vera rólegur,
þú æsir upp öll hin.
Segir að ég sé í tveggja ára meðferð,
hann býður mig velkominn.
Segir að á morgun fái ég raflost
svo að ég verði eins og öll hin!

Stórir strákar fá raflost…..

Translation -
Translation starts:
They called this morning
said that Lilla had become mad.
That she bites people in the neck,
drinks from them all blood.
She had said that she could not fall,
she had no place to fall on.
She said that she turned into bat
that she flies about the blue sky.

The doctor was middle-aged,
his eyes were gray.
He junked himself with morfin,
said he had worked here for fifteen years.
The unrestfull ones stored on a section (section of a institute),
that was specialy designed for them.
That it was going to put Lilla in electric shock,
he invited me to watch.

Big boys get electric shock...

The ?maids?/hallgirls snarled,
and showed their teeth.
They ordered me to go to bed,
said: time for the pills.
I said to them that I were a guest
that I was on the way home.
They me with noise to the floor
said then: you are one of them.

On the nights the doctor comes
says he is my friend.
Says that I am in two year therapy,
he welcomes me.
Says tomorrow I will get electric-shocked
so I would become like the rest

Big boys get electric shock...
