which books do you learn with?: Maybe we can compare which books we use for learning Icelandic, recommend good books for learners, etc.

I use "Learning Icelandic" by Auður Einarsdóttir, Guðrún Theodórsdóttir etc., "Colloquial Icelandic" by Daisy Neijmann, and two German books (Langenscheidt + Isländisch für Anfänger).
With all of them I use cassettes / CDs as well.

Maybe there are some people who use one of these as well and are interested in a study group?

Teach yourself Icelandic, downloaded from Emule :D

With audio too.

Maybe we can interchange books, we can scan our books and study in group. Do you want Nikostrate?

Scan books? :o Sorry, no, I'd be far too lazy for that, and I don't have a scanner anyway...

There's stuff like that at e-Mule? ^^Well, but it's not quite legal... I usually prefer to buy my books honestly :)

I use Icelandic: grammar, texts, glossary by Stefán Einarsson. I'm learning primarily for the purpose of simply reading it so I can use An Introduction to Old Norse by E.V. Gordon.
