BYKI - I downloaded that software. The interface is spiffy, and it's nicely organized. I could learn Irish with that program all day long.

Unfortunately it also is [b]wrong[/b] on a few words. How weird is that?

Check your dictionary before you accept what the program tells you as gospel.

I think I'll write to the company and let them know...

- I've dowloaded the programme as well for a number of languages and there are mistakes. But that goes for downloadable dictionaries etc.. But yes, be careful kids!!

As regards the Irish version sometimes fadas are backwards (ex. Wine list should be Clár an fhíona NOT Clàr an fhíona) and some words are missing fadas.

I find the voice kind of old fashioned and annoying, and also the in-built keyboard won't allow fadas but over-all it isn't bad for a free dowload.

Wine list is also: liosta fíona.
