Internet Irish Study Group - Using the textbook \"Progress in Irish\" by Máiréad Ní Ghráda, this group
will serve as both a forum and mailing list for the purpose of studying
the Irish language.

\"Progress in Irish\" attempts to impart a dialect-neutral variety of
Irish based primarily on the Caighdeán Oifigiúil (Official Standard) which
has been used in most textbooks since 1950.

The group\'s URL is:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/progressinirish

The group\'s e-mail address is:
progressinirish@yahoogroups.com

Note the group has already started and have done the first 3chapters but everything is posted and there are knowlegeable
and patient people who will answer your questions. I think this group would be a big help for people trying to learn on their own.
