New to the forum - Dia dhuit,

My name is Ross. I’m new to the forum and new to Irish. Being an ‘A’ type personality, I’ve picked up computer software and books for learning Irish and hammer away at it when I can. Still it seems that the human context isn’t there and so it just doesn’t stick… it’s not communication, just repetition and rules.

Anyway, I like the level of activity and I liked what you wrote, Colm, about your plans for the forum, so if you don’t mind, I’ll stalk around in the background until I’m comfortable.
