Thig liom cuidiú libh - I'm a French student on linguistics. I speak Irish fluently; I'm not a native speaker but I've learnt Irish in the Gaeltacht. I speak Donegal Irish but I know quite well the other dialects as well as Standard Irish.
If you are puzzled by some expression or some point in Irish grammar, feel free to ask your question here, I'll quickly answer you.

- Hi, I just recently went on a trip to Ireland and I fell in love with the language, so now I'm determined to learn it. I got an Irish/English dictionary, but it doesn't even have the word for 'ok' or 'all right'. Do you know what Irish word (or several words, I suspect) for that would be?

Thanks in advance

- Dia dhuit,

Wow this is so embarrassing, i have to ask a French guy to help me speak my native language, lol. It really is a shame that Irish isn't taken more seriously in Ireland.

Bheul sin sceal eile,
Could you help me learn the language, if you're interested just pm me.

It isn't your native language, just the traditional language of your country. Not quite the same! Your native language is the one you've been raised up with, by your parents.

See you, I'm going to send a pm to you.
