"di dove sei" or "da dove sei" wich one true or the they are the same

credo che è lo stesso di dire "di dove sei/siete" o "da dove sei/siete". Le due sono corretti.

it means when i want to ask"where are you from" i say "di dove sei" or " da dove sei"

- Hi Hatem,
"di dove sei?" is right. You could also say "Da dove vieni?".
"Da dove sei?" sounds a bit odd to an Italian speaker.
