- well, i don't know how much spare time i'll have from next month on (Uni starts again) but i suggest that you begin with reading the Italian lessons in this site and browse the web for others, if you think you really want to study it on a daily basis the easiest and probably best way is to look for a good conversation and grammar book or, why not, a course for beginners made ad hoc. just go into a good library if you don't want to buy one or a good bookshop. Last one I saw is made by a German publishing house, HUEBER, it is for English-speaking people and comes with 2 audio cd's where to listen to dialogues, easy 1000 words vocabulary and good lessons made with something like 20 dialogues from basic to pre-intermediate/intermediate. It seemed very good to me coz it follows a conversational line and just few grammar rules at a time, which doesn't overwhelm lerners with lots of "useless" rules like grammar approach does. But I'm Italian and have no experience in this kind of things for non-Italian speakers. There are plenty of courses like this around and some of them are very well done. Just take a look around. Ah, the price was fairly good too, sth round 30 euro if I remeber well, that is, just the same price you'd pay for a dinner at a restaurant...

ps. if you ever need some explanation bout italian lang i'll try to help you the best way I can, of course...
