I've been looking forward to learning japanese for a while, but no one will teach me.I know a few words and phrases.But i really want to learn to speak Japanese.Please help...

nihongo ga suki desu ka.: wow so many people want to learn Japanese!!! i've started memorizing the hiragana characters (which is recommended as a first step to learning Japanese). The only thing i need desperate help in is grammar.(improve accent by watching japanese shows, preferably dramas :))
why are the interest in Japanese? Just curious. I started because i love anime.

okay, i was trying to learn hiragana and katakana, but there is this mysterious character that isnt in either one of those charts, but it is everywhere! 一 < that's the character, what does it mean???????????????

I need help too... i started learning with tons of tutorials and grammars and vocabulary lists i got from the internet...
i learned how to conjugate some verbs from different groups, how adjectives work, some determinants... but i'm not going anywhere from there -_-'
also, i'm in an area at school that focusses more in languages, so being able to speak one more would mean alot to me

Yes ! you can type and read japanese here !: hello ! To be able to read japanese kanjis and 2 alphabets ( hiragana and katagana ) you must ajust your PC by choosing and adding that language in your " display " post up your screen . There,under the " text size "you have the " code " post: under automatic selection, you click on " more " ,go down to " Japanese language " and add " automatic selection " ! Close it ! And there you are ....able to read japanese writing ! Good luck ! Should work !

how to say it.: Kiryo- (Ki Ry O) does that help?
A is like a in August.
E is like e in Hey.
I is like i in Igloo.
O is like o in Dog.
U is like oo in Balloon.
There is no such letter as L.
