- How much do you know?

You gave a very informal self introduction [in Nihongo called "jikkou shokai"]. Do you know Kana? Anyways, I'd totally be willing to help you out a bit.

PS. Shyogakko no toki ni ueeruzu ni sundeimashita. Yokatta kedo america no yori suki to omoimasu.

Oh, another thing - Something that is always included in a japanese self introduction is "yoroshiku onegaishimasu", which translated to english as "consider me kindly".

レゴラスさん、フォーラムへようこそ! 合計で3-4年間しているけど、その間に日本語を勉強していない間もありました。(Welcome to the forum, legolas! While altogether I've been studying Japanese for 3-4 years, it's been on and off) Are you sure your Japanese is as good as your profile states? If you were fluent, you wouldn't need to be here. ;) Anyway, again welcome.
