Help with the Phrases Page: For Some reason, I can't choose Korean for a language I want to learn. Do I need a Korean keyboard? Does anybody else have this problem? What should I do?

I don't know about choosing Korean for a language, but I don't use a Korean keyboard. The only differance between your keyboard and a Korean keyboard is the letter printed on the key. I don't usually look at the letters on my keys anyway, so it doesn't bother me. Sometimes I do forget which key is which letter, which leads to a lot of trial, error and deleting, but it works for me. When you install the Korean encoder, it will let you choose which language your keyboard types in.

Korean phrases page: I'm having the same problem. It doesn't allow you to set the target language to Korean. Just not listed as one of the choices.

Hi! It simply happens because (I supppose) we don't have a native speaker to be the moderator of Korean forum yet.

I am excited to tell you all that we now have a Korean Administrator and you may have already met him. :)
His name is Bryan.
Today he has completed all of the 1,652 phrases in the templates section and so Phrasebase will be available for you to set in Korean as soon as Jeff publishes it.
All you have to do, is set the LEFT flag to Korean.
At the moment, the pages are being republished, but as soon as Jeff finishes, please give them a try and send us feedback!

regarding the korean keyboard: hi all posted here
i am a korean speaker teaching korean on line during the past months.
while i've read the posts from a few language friends here, i got felt some sort of regretfulness with myself bocz any korean couldn't give u any smart solution so far eventhough such international friends love to learn korean. i even may not have the solution sorrily all of u want to get.
I like to just describe briefly how i am helping my on line students(or friends) regarding korean characters seu-up in the computer.
My students download the program into their PC gotten from the website so can read and write them at ur pc screen.
and there is the Hangeul keyboard layout also on a few sites as well. according to that layout, people put the korean characters on the appropriate keys to view those on the exsisting keyboard.
I don't know well about how cassiebleu has done for this job and rather look forward to the commence from cassiebleu if i am right, better or foolish whatsoever i do coz i think i took the best choice for the foreigners who learn korean.
let's exchange ideas
and i love all of YOU trying to learn korean language. I love and enjoy teaching korean
감사합니다, 여러분 Gamsahamnida for all
