| Let\'s pick up the korean words - Let\'s challenge another thread to find the words of different meaning but same Hangeul spelling - homonym/synonyms or other words that are similar each you may confuse or difficult to recognize. Not very many of those...however guess quite some of... Even myself is not so sure how many will be. | |

| - This could be difficult for beginners like me! But one I can think of is 한 which can mean \"one\", \"a limit\", \"a bitter feeling\"... according to my dictionary. :) | |

| Hi welcoming a new friend - nice to have u here, reMeks yes, to know such words is interesting, isnt it? sae jib means a new house and saejib without a space means a bird\'s nest... 새 집, 새집 where the first sae means NEW and second sae means the BIRD while the first sae has the short tone and the second has the long tone 한 has the meaning BIG or large as well like 한국, 한강 for Korea and the main river of korea in seoul 한 is a short of 하나 in fact when it comes to mean ONE in front of the noun describing the unit like 한 개, 한 사람, 한 마리, 한 벌... for one thing or stuff, one person, one animal and one suit...respectively hope this helps you | |
