To start learning Korean: The romanization of the language is quite misleading, in my opinion, so for all those people who have posted "please teach me Korean" or "I want to learn Korean", please first learn the alphabet. It is posted in another thread further down this page.

From there, we can start with the basics of Korean like sentence structure, word order, particles, infinitives, etc.

한국말 하신분들 부탁해주세요. 다른 언어 배우기에 도움을 꼭 주시기 바라요.

for the korean learners: i agree very much with jhky that the korean learners would be better learn korean alphabets first than using Romanization. its simply bcoz the romanization followas just the pronounciations of the language korean which may often creat frequent confusion to the learners and the learners would have to know Hangeul(korean alphabet) anyway in the end.

I've been teaching people of non korean heritages Korean language on line for a couple of months now,so i've been experienced often with people wanting to learn by romanization(its easy to learn how to pronounce by) but made themself confused in actual pronounciation by the roman letters and the real writing in korean.
By this reason,my teaching method has been modified to teach Hangeul first how to write, read and pracice the words plus easy sentences together with some useful conversational phrases, and then further to the specific detailed gramma later.

any comments from anyone who are interested in korean, welcomed

thanks in advance
cheers
