| - Here's a site which I found really helpful when I started learning from scratch just 2 weeks ago: http://langintro.com/kintro/index.htm First you should learn the 'alphabet', then just keep looking on this forum for more resources on the basics. All the best and don't give up! | |

| - Haven't gotten that far yet but thanks. It's very interesting (and strange) to learn a new alpabet when you have only used the roman one before. Kind of like when you use diffrent numerical systems. Rag jon me on MSN some time if you wanna, i'm also starting from scratch. | |

| how to start to learn korean? - YES, you need to learn first Hangeul(korean alphabet) how to read to prononounce, (writing might be later on from my view point) and vocabulary as much as you can. Meanwhile need daily practice as many phrases as possible plus simple daily conversational listening and trying to speak. and then, Step towards the grammar more and more with continuity of daily conversation practices. Any members, let\'s discuss for this subject, so YOU korean learners could be skilled up with korean in fast/effective/enjoyable pace. any other advices are most welcomed | |
