Arabic: Hi! Can you teach me Arabic? I really want to learn how to speak arabic so that I can communicate with my in-laws. My in-laws speak Moroccan arabic. If you can't teach me Moroccan Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic would be ok.

Thanks!

Chinese is the most difficult for sure: 10.000 characters now in use & a bunch of different tones for the same thing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Zh-pinyin_tones_with_ma.ogg and although its full of meanings also I still think Arabic is the most beautiful!

Chinese is actually easy in some ways. There are no affixes and every word has a constant form. A strict word order makes this work and it's easy to start putting ideas together. The grammar is also very direct. Of course the writing is hard, and it takes about 8 years to be able to read a newspaper proficiently, with lots of study. Tones are hard to get used to and probably represent the hardest aspect of learning to speak/listen.
Arabic, however, is very difficult in use. Its grammar is complex and affixes numerous. Varying dialects make understanding everyone difficult, and fosHa (formal Arabic) is difficult to master even for native speakers. Though there may in some way be more of an obstacle in Chinese with the writing system, being able to proficiently read a newspaper in Arabic is very difficult as well, with much more knowledge of grammar required. Becoming fluent in formal Arabic is likely as hard, if not harder, than doing so with Chinese, maybe excluding the writing system.
