Nope, I'm not. But my family comes from Switzerland, and my father was born in Germany. Both of my parents went to high school together in Germany, and that's how they met.

it would be nice to learn and teach some new words: It would be nice to learn some new words in German.... Thanks for offering. Can teach some Estonian if anyone is interested.

1st year student: I took one semester of German, then dropped because of scheduling, but I was one of the top students in my class and would love to keep learning over the summer to catch up on what I missed. Contact me if that'd be possible!

Of course, and as a note to all who wish to learn German, I suggest buying a microphone. It makes the pronounciation MUCH easier! ;) I have one and would be able to help you with pronounciation.

Oh my goodness. I'm from Virginia too! I would like to learn German, and this is great, because you most likely understand the southern sayings and I won't have to explain myself to you!

Hej, I want to learn German! I come from Holland, so my pronouncation isn't such a big problem, and I had German at school for 3 years, but that's a while ago and I want to learn it fluent...

I actually have German cousins who I can never understand because they always speak fluent German to me haha. You would be a great help if you taught me a thing or two!
