Lesson 6 - An I-stem is a 3rd diclension word that either has the same amount of syllables in its genetive and nominative or has 2 consecutive consonants in the last syllable of its genetive (with the exception of canis, canis, m/f - dog). Because of this, extra vowels have to be put in to the words
