medieval latin translation - Hello all,

I am curently in the process of translating a medieval german book. The medieval german I can cope with, but there is this one sentence in latin that is driving me CRAZY. I\'ve tried machine translations, english to latin dictionaries, asking my mother (she leart a little latin in catholic school) and now this.

The sentence is:

\"Ingenius pulcherium quo protulit equestres vide quod considera quantum quod quo quado finire quado placeat retrahe sumtulo quo\"

There is also a picture on the page I\'m not sure what it\'s meant to be though. It looks like it\'s made of leather with buckles... a belt... a sadle maybe?

Anyway, any insight that anyone can give me regarding the meaning of this phrase would be excellent.
