| TELL WHAT YOU THINK - I\'m writing this post for those who want to learn Latin and who are used to browsing this forum. I would like to know what you think about the lessons and the poems I\'ve recently posted. If you are interested and if you like them I will keep posting. Otherwise I\'ll try to post something else. If you have any suggestions please post them here or Pm me. I\'ll appreciate it and I\'ll try to follow your advice. Thank you Alec | |

| - Ciao Alec! I really like the idea of poems, I have a suggestion to make it be a bit more useful. Why don\'t you try to explain what\'s grammatically important in each poem? I mean, you could give some grammar hints referring to the pome. I had had a similar idea months ago to teach/study German but due to my lack of knowledge of German poems I had to give up. I\'m sure you wouldn\'t have such a problem. Obviously Catullus\' poems aren\'t exactly the best ones to start with for a beginner, due to the strong informality of language of most of them... or maybe that might be a way to make understand students that latin is not such a strict language, who knows?=o) | |

| - Good idea Leo! Actually Catullus\'s poems are not so easy for beginner but they are absolutely wonderful. Maybe I\'ll try with something written by Phaedrus or Igino. Thank you for your suggestion! | |
