Wedding Speech - English to Mandarin Chinese: Hello Everyone!

I would so appreciate any help possible with this. I have been asked to be the presenter for an upcoming 500+ person Chinese wedding, and the speech is very basic, but I'm still having some trouble with how exactly to PROPERLY say things in Chinese.

I know I can do this fine in a slang-way, but properly is much more difficult.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on how any of the following sentences should be properly said in Mandarin.

Thank you SO much in advance! :)

-Good evening ladies and gentleman, friends family and distinguished guests.

-We are happy to have some VIPs attending this wedding..

- We are also very fortunate and happy to have relatives visiting us:

-Also here tonight are Jie's siblings, making their special appearances:

- Jie's oldest brother
- Jie's second oldest Sister-in-Law
- Jie's 3rd oldest brother
- Jie's 5th oldest brother from NYC, Dr. Chu, single and available (LOL)

-And now the bride's side..

I'm also hoping to find some funny wedding-appropriate Chinese jokes, as well.

Please let me know if anyone has any advice/input/ideas for this.

:)

Kind of a bummer that no one replied here. I would have tried were I not a complete newbie. At any rate, I'm curious to know how it went?

Yeah, I thought so, too. I guess replies aren't given for complete newcomers. :(

It ended up going really well, though - thank you for asking! :)

Ahhh, don't take it personally. I don't think it's because you are a newbie that you didn't get any replies answering your question. It's just that many of us are just beginners (like myself) so we wouldn't really know how to help you. And those who are advanced may have been busy during that time period. ^^;;

Anyway, glad to hear that things ended up well. :)
