Namaste! - Namaste ( the only word I know so far) I am hoping for much help (and much much patience) from everyone. I am 46 and have never tried to learn a new language before so i will be very slow. Thank you all very much. What is the Nepali for thank you?

Mero naam Pradeep ho/my name is Pradeep.
Tapaainko ke ho/what\'s yours?

ma = I
mero = my
timi = you
timro(friendly) = your
tapaainko (with respect, to elder people)= your
ke = what
ho = is (in above sentence, but \"ho\" means \"yes\" also in Npali)

ra = and
tapaainharu = you in plural
tapaainharuko = your
sahayog = help
laai = to/for
gardachhu (verb) = do
feri = again

Timile \"new friend\" ko trnslate garenau.\"

If you are saying:

Thanks for the corrections.
You didn\'t translate \"new friend\".

hamile \"new friend\"ko translationko laagi Anya laai dhanyevaad dinu parchha. = We should Thank Anya for the translation of \"new friend\".

garnu = to do

Sentence Structure -
Subject_Object_Verb

Ma (I) bhaat (rice) khanchhu (eat).
but in English it is:
I eat rice (Subject_Verb_Object).

how are you today? = tapaainlai(to you) aaja (today) kasto (how) chha (is/are)?
\"nice to meet you\" = \"Tapaain (you) sanga (with) bhetera (meeting) ramailo/ramro (nice) lagyo (feeled)\"
please = kripaya
