| Corrija-me - Pessoal, sugiro um jogo novo que vi no fórum de francês :-) É simples: escreve-se uma frase cheia de erros, a próxima pessoa corrige e depois deixa a sua frase. Folks, what about a new game? I saw it in the french forum :-) Very simple: give a sentence with some errors and the person below you will correct it and give another sentence with errors. First one: Ontem eu vê a menina na cinema. | |

| - Eu toco guitarra. The only thing that you have to keep in mind is that the \"`\" (acento grave) only appears on prepositions: à estação; àquela casa... the \"´\" (acento agudo) appears in the other words where it\'s needed. :) Eu jà fui á praia muitas veses. | |

As a matter of fact, two correct answers are possible (I did such mistakes on purpose :-) > Isto é muito ruim, pior que aquilo. I mean some situation or state of things. OR > Este é muito ruim, pior que aquele. I mean some specific thing, which is implicit in the sentence above, maybe because we´ve talked about it in the previous sentences, or these things are visible to you and the other talking person. Suppose you´re into pop music, you could say: Este CD (Celine Dion, for instance ;-) é muito ruim, pior que aquele CD (Mariah Carey, for instance ;-) Ok? I don´t know if such difference (isto vs este/esta/etc) exists in other languages. In English there isn´t, and in another european languages (german and russian AFAIK) there isn´t too... So it can be a little difficult for non-portuguese speakers... Answer to the previous one: Hoje veio o teu amigo. Next one: Manhã chegamos os otros amigos que ti falei. | |
