CUMPRIMENTOS EM PORTUGUÃŠS - Oi!
I made this topic to put some basic greeting and daily-use expressions. I hope you find this useful!

Olá - Hallo
Oi - Hi
Bom dia - Good morning / Good day
Boa tarde - Good afternoon
Boa noite - Good night / Good evening (used for both)
Obrigado(a) - Thanks
Muito obrigado(a) - Thank you very much
De nada / Não há de quê - You're welcome (you can use both)
Até mais - See you later
Até amanhã - See you tomorrow
Adeus - Bye (more used in Portugal)
Tchau - Bye (more used in Brazil)

(Não) Estou com fome / (Não) Tenho fome - I'm (not) hungry
(Não) Estou com sede / (Não) Tenho sede - I'm (not) thirsty
Onde tem um restaurante por aqui? - Is there a restaurat near here?
Onde é o banheiro? - Where's the bathroom?

Eu (não) falo português fluente - I (don't) speak Portuguese fluently
Eu (não) falo português - I (don't) speak Portuguese
Eu (não) falo inglês - I (don't) speak English

Meu nome é _____. Prazer em conhecê-lo(a) - My name is _____. Nice to meet you.

eu falo portugues

eu nao falo portugues

- No Brasil:
Onde tem um restaurante por aqui?
Onde é o banheiro?

Em Portugal diz-se:
Onde há um restaurante por aqui?
Onde é a casa de banho?

i'll be editing this post, so you can often see it. i'll edit it with the negative forms. i'll post more expressions other day. if you want, you can ask for a specific expression that i post there

Onde é o banheiro? - Where's the bathroom?

The correct phrase for the first one should be:

Existe algum restaurante por aqui? (isto em pt-PT).

And in pt-PT (Portuguese from Portugal as opposed to pt-BR) we also say "Até logo" = see you later.

Also you should notice that men always say Obrigado and women always say obrigada to whoever they are thanking (the gender that matters is the speaker one, not the person that he\she's speaking to).

Eu moro na Rua Boa Vista,1200. / I live at 1200, Boa Vista street.
Sou de São Paulo. / I\'m from São Paulo.
Meu telefone é 555-5555../ My telephone number is 555-5555..
Qual é o teu ( seu - used among Brazilians) telephone?/ What is your telephone number?
