Forming plurals in Portuguese - I added this game onto Polish forum and it goes well there. I think it\'ll be useful also here since there are some tricky nouns in portuguese too that have irregular plural.
Hopefully waiting for your posts! :D

hi Lyddi!! :) This game\'s rules are simple! First person gives a noun and the next one has to form its plural form; one did that gives another noun to be made in plural etc etc. Sill should have put a noun, but since he forgot here it is:

Hi Utomjording,

We won´t hit you, I must say YOU hit it big :-)

Maybe we have something very strange going on here... there are two posts (July 28th) exactly about this word (ancião), with one correct answer, but I searched a dictionary (Houaiss, brazilian portuguese) and it says there are three (!) correct alternatives:

anciãos, anciães e anciões

Another dictionary (Priberam, standard portuguese) lists two correct forms:

anciães ou anciões

Really amazing! You can pick the plural form you like most :-D

maçã (pl) => maçãs
