- think in two English Words: day + show. lol that\'s the closest you can get with the pronounciation of the word \"deixou\".

- Man, it´s amazing...
This combination \"day + show\" sounds *>exactly<* the same!

One hint: the \"x\" letter in portuguese is somewhat tricky. It can have four different sounds:

- like the greek \"cs\": \"táxi\", \"óxido\", \"fixar\"
- like the english \"z\": \"exemplo\" (por exemplo ;-) \"exato\" (\"exacto\" in european portuguese, to be more exact...)
- like the english \"sh\": \"caixa\", \"deixou\" :-)
- like... silence, it has no sound when combined with \"c\": \"excelente\", \"excepcional\"

One more hint:
- when the \"x\" is the first letter of the word, it sounds like \"sh\": xingu, xamã, xenônio, xilogravura
- when the \"x\" is the last letter of the word, it sounds like \"cs\": ônix, fênix, tórax, botox
