Jogo Tabu - Oi!
Another day, Lyddi said me that the Spanish forum had many games, and i looked there and found this one. It's very interesting. (I copied the explanation of the game and translated to Portuguese and to English from the Spainsh forum. Thx, Goran!)

Esta é uma variante do jogo Taboo. Vocês têm que descrever uma palavra sem usar nenhuma das 5 palavras dadas. Vocês podem pôr mais de 5 palavras proibidas para aumentar a dificuldade, mas não mais que 10.
Por exemplo:
O que é uma laranja?

As palavras que não podem ser usadas são: café da manhã, fruta, redonda, cítrico, suco.

Uma solução poderia ser:

É uma coisa com forma esférica que se come e que pode espremer e que é da cor que resulta da junção do vermelho e do amarelo.

Por tanto não usou nenhuma palavra mencionada acima.

This is a variable of the Taboo Game. You have to describe a word and you can't use any of the 5 words given. You can put more than 5 prohibited words to level up the difficult, but not more than 10.
E.g.:
What's an orange?

The words that can't be used are: breakfast, fruit, round, citric, juice.

A solution could be:

It's a thing with esferic shape that we eat and that we can squeeze and that is from the colour that results from red and yellow.

Then, I used no word mentioned above.

- i guess it is a very useful game because we have to construct whole phrases in Portuguese and i usually face difficulties doing so. i hope we can use words that have the same root as the prohibited ones.
este é o produto de um escritor e é vendido nas livrarias. pode ser um roman, uma novela, poesia, etc.
is this correct? can i post a new word now?

- well, dan you only made a mistake: a galinha é branc[b]a[/b]. the adjective must be in the female in this case because galinha is a female word. i know this is hard to learn for a english speaker, but with practice you won't make this mistake anymore.

Casa é o lugar onde a pessoa passa boa parte da vida, junto com pai, mãe, filhos, irmão, irmã, cachorro etc.
Home is the place where a person spends most of her/his life, together with father, mother, children, brother, sister, dog etc.

(Folks, "casa" may mean "house" or "home", depending on the context. If some pal wants to develop this theme, better create a new topic)
