- lembrar _____ to remember
passar ______ to pass
amar ________ to love

fragmentar___ shred
exemplo: "Pode fragmentar até 4 folhas de papel de 75 gramas, em larguras de até 21cm, sendo que uma folha de papel dobrada equivale a duas folhas..."

it was an add for a paper shredder. I bet the verb can be used for other meanings as well.

I am not sure about the rules, but I believe we should find different verbs that have the same or similar meaning. Am I right?
I’m afraid my Portuguese isn’t good enough for that kind of exercises, so…I’ll just try to use the verb. I hope it’s ok.

verbo: GOSTAR
Eu gosto muito de aprender as linguas extrangeiras.

Some more - First, a correction:
Eu gosto muito de aprender as linguas extrangeiras.
Should be: "Eu gosto muito de aprender línguas estrangeiras."
The "as" is unecessary
"extrangeiras" does not exist. You meant "estrangeiras"

- 2 verbs to same word:

correr - to run
fugir - to run away (from something or someone)

(as a side mark, "defenestrar" doesn't really exist, its 'imported' from the french word "fenêtre" which is "window") :)

Rui
gzimizeSunday 16th of October 2005 11:28:41 PM
- eu sei que defenestrar vem do francês. porém ele existe sim, está no dicionário aurélio, um dos mais bem conceituados da língua portuguesa.
é só
ruipolidoMonday 17th of October 2005 12:14:11 AM
- Agora que referiste isso, averiguei melhor o termo defenestrar. Realmente existe e vem do latim - fenestra - e não do francês.
Em Portugal não se usa, sendo mais usado no Brasil.

Escreve o(s) teu(s) verbo(s) :)

abre

gzimizeMonday 21st of November 2005 03:57:38 PM
- oi, lidija!
você esqueceu de colocar a conjugação para "vós" - you've forgotten to put the conjugation for "you (pl.)"

nós abrimos
vós abris
eles abrem

fechar - to close
lyddiMonday 21st of November 2005 09:23:57 PM
- Actually I did not. I’ve been learning Portuguese (not Brazilian). In our classes we use Vocês (you pl informal) instead of Vós. The same form (conjugation) is used for they m, f. That’s why I didn’t write it. So, it would be:

abro
abres
abre
abrimos
abrem
abrem

I hope this is correct.

New verb:
alterar – modify

Eu altero
Tu alteras
Ele/Ela/Você altera
