Căutaţi o greşeală! - I’m trying to establish a new game. We will write a sentence containing at least one mistake and your task is to discover it and write new “corrupted” sentence. I’m beginning:

Al cui este cartea aceasta?

Da, "A cui este cartea aceasta" e corect.

Pe de altă parte, am crezut că noi, vorbitorii nativi de română, nu ar trebui să participăm. Dacă îmi dai însă aprobarea, o să mă alătur vouă imediat. :p

- Lore, as a founder of this thread I give you (and other native speakers) permissions to:
1) correct us
2) write us new corrupted sentences
3) write answers, if the question is difficult or nobody reacts for 2 days

Yes, I am only kidding but please, check out this game; we all know the best way to learn is from mistakes..and if you haven't made them yet...even better.

What do you think is wrong with Spilka's sentence:

Vorbeşte cu noi, te rog (or: te rog să vorbeşti cu noi)

next: Am fost acolo cu nişte prieteni ai mei.

and maybe I'm blind but.. I don't see anything wrong with your sentence o_O, unless you mean to include am fost acolo cu nişte prieteni [b]de-ai[/b] mei

"Am fost acolo cu nişte prieteni de-ai mei" is correct again.

Români (sau curând românce), scorniţi-ne lui Jeremy şi mie ceva mai dificil! :) Eu nu mai am nici o idee.

- you mean "how are you, all"?

It'd be Ce mai faceţi toţi.

Ce mai faceţi tuturor would mean something like What are you doing to all.

I don't know if it's correct for me to participate, as I am both a Romanian and a philologist, but still... I couldn't keep myself from it!

Try this:
Nu suport s-a vad ceva inncorect.

It's the reflexive form of the verb in this case-"a se adresa (cuiva)"
In our sentence "cuiva" refers to the lady to whom i addressed.

There is the simple form "a adresa (o întrebare cuiva)"(to address a question to someone),as in the following example:
I-am adresat o întrebare,dar nu mi-a răspuns.
I addressed a question to him,but he didnt answer.

The "I" there refers to the person whom i addressed the question to (lui-->> -i).Its the dative clause: to him=lui and this "lui" becomes "i-".

Hope i didn't complicate things too much...

Next: Credemă, nu m-ai pot!!!

Sunt sigur că am făcut nişte greşeli în ceea ce am scris. Ar putea fi exerciţiu următor, ha ha.
