Notebook = caiet

Orange juice = suc de portocale (even if it is singular in English, it is plural in Romanian/ chiar dacă este singular în engleză, în Română este la plural)

Apple juice = Suc de mere
grape juice= suc de struguri
Cranberry juice = Suc de merişoare

Malls Zale ?

Daniela, Thanks for your corrections.

Malls?

Large shopping centers for clothes, toys, games and more all contained in the same building. Usually malls here in America is one building large building usually 2 or more floors which contains tons of different stores. Each store sells one or more of the above mentioned items.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malls

I clicked the link Română on the wiki site and it took me to http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centru_comercial. I think Centru Comercial is more correct then Zale. Do you agree?

We use sometimes the english word too. But I think "centru comercial" is better.

Also, on quiz 3, there is a small spelling error. Month is "lună" and the plural of it is "luni", so the correct question is "What Month is it? / Ce Lună este?"

Edit
I was curious to see how the 3rd quiz is and I got 1 incorrect answer >8-0: March = Marţie %}.
Mike please change the result to "Martie" :p

I am working on an automated process for all of the above. (Tables and Quizzes). It will make everything match perfectly between the two. ...Hopefully

edit 2: Can someone please translate "What are you wearing? (Clothing)"? Thanks.

www.dictionare.com is very useful. It also conjugates verbs and nouns. Some errors, but it is very helpful in most cases in my opinion.

It certainly is a good rule to live by.

I can't wait to get out of working in the city for this exact reason. I spend 4 hours a day on a bus back and forth. I've been doing this for 3 years. I realize that I missed many things and I don't want to miss any more.

I spend 3 hours on the bus going to work and coming back
although normally it should take more than half an hour.

Luckily, the sight is nice, trees, buildings, people, the opera house, parks, schools, churches, rows of roses in the middle of the road.

Well, there are some nice landscapes to look at in northern new jersey once outside the city. Some other things too but other than that it is mainly highway driving. If I can disable the sound on my phone I'll some pictures of different things I see each day.

I take it you work in Bucharest? Is there a lot of traffic there?

Da, lucrez în Bucureşti.
Yes, I work in Bucharest.

The traffic in Bucharest is like this:
Traficul în Bucureşti este aşa:

It should take me 15 minutes to go to school by bus or trolleybus.
Ar trebui să ajung la şcoală în 15 minute.

It takes about 1 hour if I leave at 6:40 to start classes at 7:30 and between 1 hour and a half and two hours if you leave at 8:00.

If you walk it will take you 1 hour and a half.

So.....

It is very tiring.

I have to translate a poem to read it on the radio.

This is the poem:

I have a big problem.
Is the meaning of strangles that of the horse disease or the harness???

Thank you very much!!!

This is interesting. I will read it closer tomorrow as it is the end of the day and I want to head home. :)

To answer your question, Strangles appears to be a horse disease. I've never heard of this, but it was easy enough to findfor you. :):) Have a good night!

Strangles (also equine distemper and shipping fever) is a contagious, upper respiratory tract infection of horses and other equines caused by a bacterium, Streptococcus equi. Strangles is endemic in domesticated horses worldwide.
