Thank you for the correction :) I agree, they aren't a lot... and that was my first composition in Romanian :D

But I have some questions:

Why do you write familia mea instead of familia ma?
Why it's tat?l instead of tata? And bunicul instead of bunicii? Lots of questions lol :D

Oh, you have more questions than mistakes;)

The definite article "l"(u +l)is attached to the masculine nouns ending in a consonant or in "i" :

sg.

tat? - tat?l
bunic - bunicul

pl.

ta?i - ta?ii
bunici - bunicii

For more information see Kenny's lesson about the Declension with Definite Article.

Nouns followed by a possessive take the definite article. There is a double determiner, the article and the possessive adjective.


tat?l meu(my father)
mama mea (my mother
bunicul meu
bunica mea
p?rintele meu
p?rin?ii mei (my parents)

I've used it in the past mainly on ebay and half.com. But I am sure there are other sites that use it.
