¡Hablemos!: This thread will (hopefully :)) allow us to develop our oral fluency in Spanish.
Following excellent suggestions from Mari and Aaron(gracias :)), in this thread we will try to work on ability to speak Spanish. What can you post here? I´m thinking just about anything that lets us interact, as lons as..it´s in Spanish. :D So, you can ask a question for the next player to answer, we can play "La persona debajo de mí" or "Preguntas aleatorias", "Si...entonces", you can tell us a joke, etc.

Hopefully, recording and uploading tracks won´t be too much of a hassle but if you have any kind of problems do not hesitate to ask. Just in case, here are a couple of sites where you can upload what you want to post:

www.uploadhut.com

Once you've uploaded your file, make a note of its location and use the following code to post here on PB:

< embed src="Location of yor file" autostart="false" loop="false" controller="true" >

Just leave out the spaces between < and the next character.
For example, to post my first recording I'm going to use this:
< embed src="http://www.geocities.com/ama982ro/1st.wma" autostart="false" loop="false" controller="true" >

Let us know if something doesn't work.

OK, I say it's time we started talking! :) Here's my first attempt. Please answer my question and then...record and post you own question/frase for "La persona debajo de mí""Si...entonces", etc.

Hi my name is David, I think this is great idea, but it looks like does not work like expected I used both sites and couldn't see anything I would like to make a suggestion.

Try www.youtube.com works similar to those sites you intended to use, so I will be in the look out for the first question Ok.?

¡Bienvenido en el foro español de PB y muchísimas gracias para tu interés! :)
Grrr, somehow I new there were going to be some problems with this. :( I´ve only had the chance to test the code with Internet Explorer until now... Does that mean that, at the end of my post, you cannot see a small plugin, with a Play button??
*looking into the problem* and looking forward to hearing my question answered :)


EDIT: OK, with some serious help from Goran (big thanks) I seem to have nailed it: apparently this will only work if you use Internet Explorer. I'll try to find a work-around but..until then...click [url=http://www.geocities.com/ama982ro/1st.wma]here to listen to my recording.
Please don't let these little problems deter you! :p

The buttons are there but none of them are working, so when clicking on the play button nothing happens

Puedo entender, pero no comprendo todo, Juli! Me gusta tu accento lol. Recuerdo que suenas igual que la vez última que hablamos, pienso que practicamos francés con la palabras "verlans".

I've downloaded a plug-in for mozilla firefox and it's also working now. :)
