Hmmmm...as far as I know The People's Republic of China, the Republic of China on Taiwan, and Vietnam each claim sovereignty over the entire group of islands, while Brunei, Malaysia, and the Philippines each claim various parts (?)
TPBM can tell what the Vietnamese name for the Spratly islands is!

It is estimated that the Spratly area holds oil and natural gas reserves of 17.7 billion tons (1.60 × 1010 kg), as compared to the 13 billion tons (1.17 × 1010 kg) held by Kuwait, placing it as the fourth largest reserve bed in the world.
(reason enough for a small dispute I should think:)

Now I am really curious. Turns out that there could be a mix of traditions in the Kingdom of Humanity! I'm pretty sure that they celebrate some form of Christmas there, but it just depends on who imported the ceremonies and rituals!?
