swahili- want to learn: well, i was wondering if anyone could post a bit of basic swahili grammar on here (i.e. some ver conjugationas, or some tips on sentence structure). thanks.

Hey, i want to learn swahili too! Have you got very far? Some stuff they taught me in Kenya...
kondoo - sheep
ng'ombe - cow
juu - higher
chini - lower
unatoka wapi? - where are you from?
ninatoka... - i come from...
kikombe - cup
sahani - plate
hii ni ngapi? - how much is it?
una miaka mingapi? - how old are you?
habari? - how are you?
jina lako ni nani? - what is your name?
numbers:
1 - moja
2 - mbili
3-tatu
4-nne
5-tano
6-sita
7-saba
8-nane
9-tisa
10-kumi
11-kumi na moja
12 -kumi na mbili
etc...
Does anyone know any more swahili? And does anyone know how to say 'i miss you' in Swahili?
