| The Most useful Swedish Book I Have Read - I was reading a book today and it is such a great book for grammar. It is especially great for helping with word order,prepositions, and everything in between and I thought some of you guys learning Swedish too might enjoy this book. It is called Essentials of Swedish Grammar by Åke Viberg, Kerstin Ballardini, and Sune Stjärnlöf. I also began writing the sentence structure down as I write like this: Fronted word * Verb 1 * Subject * sentence adverbial Fronted word = I kväll Verb 1 = måste Subject = jag Sentence adverbial= inte rest of main clause = äta godis I kväll måste jag inte äta godis. (I made up this example myself. The ones in the book are better) The book gives every different word order. I love it! | |
