Tamil, I haven\'t given up yet - To all native or learning Tamil speakers, I would appreciate your help. Any help with words, tenses, sentence structure, would be greatly appreciated.

- Hi! :)

I hope I\'m not being too... excessive or anything. :(

Although, I\'m not really interested in learning Tamil, I\'m still willing to help out here as having Tamil as one of the languages here, I hope I am able to scoop some resources for you from the local library. :)

Hmm... I have one friend who speaks tamil as a mother tongue though, unforuntately I can\'t seem to contact him. :S

Anyways, any questions, you can always post around and I\'ll try my best to help you get the answers. :)

Hope this helps until a native Tamil speaker arrives :)

Great preserverance by the way! :D

Nandri, naan nampikkireen paeso tamil.
Thank you, I hope to speak tamil.

Thanks for your offer, as I understand it you are from Malaysia. Seems there are many who speak tamil in Malaysia, is that correct?

Yes, preserverance is a good term to use. I have been learning the tamil alphabet as well. I can read some tamil, recognizing the words, and am able to sound out any I don\'t know. I started it as a mind work out, kind of like breaking the tamil code. Slowly it is coming to me.

Danial, makilcciraroo neenga vararkhip payanam! :)

Veelakhu :)

- Vannakum! :D

Hehe, nah, I\'m from Singapore. :D

It\'s not that easy to find Indian Tamil speakers in Singapore now. :S Though messages in public places come in all 4 languages, English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil. Perhaps, I can take some photos and post them here?

Oh, wait I found a tamil song usually played during National Day. :p
It\'s called Munnaeru Valliba

- Vannakum, Epaddi Irukeenga?
Nandri for the music.

The photos with the four languages would be neat to see, but only if it isn\'t too much bother.

You are from Singapore...sorry I thought Malaysia, since it seemed you speak Malay, my mistake. :D

National Day--What is that?

Thanks again for the music.

poitoovarayn for now.

- Hehe... you\'re welcome :D

Well, yeah. I am preparing some photos with my camera soon. :p lol, I just hope I don\'t look weird with a camera in my hands taking these photos.

Hmm... National Day is our independence day from the British, sort of like your 4th of July there. :D

Don\'t worry, I\'ll post the photos as soon as I take them. Hehe... my camera has been lazy, time for some work for it. :p

- Hello again! :)

Well, I haven\'t snapped any photos lately but I scanned some from a paper I got in all 4 languages you might want to see. :p

Malay & Tamil

English & Chinese

Sorry about the second text as I was scribbling some stuff in all kinds of languages out of boredom in school. :p

I recommend you save the photos and zoom in to them in your computer as it\'s too small to see them here. :p

Don\'t worry, photos from public places coming soon! :)

EDIT: uff... I\'ve just realised that the photos are blurrish, so if you still want a take a look at them, I could send you the photos by email or something? :)
VeelakhuMonday 06th of November 2006 08:07:07 AM
- Nandri, I did download the 4 languages and will take a closer look. Thanks. If you have some picts, blurry or not, and don\'t mind, go ahead and email them. Thanks again. Veelakhu
