translations - when in college as a foreign language student i, honestly, hated translating from my native language into foreign one.
so i was thinking if u guys who love turkish language want to play translating game, and our turkish professor , i hope, wouldnt mind correcting us, talking about OSMAN, HATI , and other native turkish speaking people, please))))
later, if it works here, we can start the same with spanish, and german languages)))))
sentence to be translated into turkish-
my friends and i are going to the beach at 5pm.
ps-sentences can be simple or complex, and lets use basic tenses, at least for now)))))))))

- Translation is the only thing i dislike during my language studies! yeek! But we can play the game of course ;)

Arkadaşlarım ve ben saat 17\'de (or öğleden sonra 5\'te) sahile gidiyoruz.

- Plaj is still used but \'sahil\' and \'kıyı\' are relatively more popular words as far as i come across.

hayat güzeldir ;)

Bana göre (benim için) hava hoş.

This sentence has a hidden meaning as well as first meaning. When you say this, you mean \'it is not a matter for me\', \'i don\'t care about it\' :)

- Televizyon seyrediyorum. (gözetlemek would be gözetliyorum)

Ailemi özlüyorum. (Or Annemle babamı özlüyorum)

As for the \"Plaj\" it is the facility where you swim. ;) But Sahil could be just a place where the earth and the sea comes together :) You could use the word \"kumsal\" as well.

\"As for me\" means more \"Bana gelince\".
