ŞU ANDA and O ZAMAN - \"Şu anda\" means \"at the moment\" in Turkish.

ex: Şu anda meşgûlüm. \"I\'m busy at the moment.\"

I came across to a wrong usage, maybe a direct translation:
\"Bu anda\". This is a wrong usage and does not correspond to the phrase \"at the moment\".

\"O zaman\" has two meanings: one is \"at that time\", and the other is \"then\".

Example 1: O zaman ben hastaydım. \"I was sick at that time.\"

Ex 2: O zaman gidelim. \"Then let\'s go.\"

For friends who wonder about the literal meanings: Şu anda is lit. \"At that instance\" and O zaman means \"that time\".

i wanted to clarify the usage of su, because people are silly about not explaining it well, it seems. i always lack contextual understandings, because i don\'t know anyone who speaks turkish around me.
o is that, bu is this, and su is like \"this sort of thing\" or like a categorization of things, i think.
like \"bu kitaptir--su zeki beyinin olmak icin kullanirir\"? i could be using these words incorrectly. my main point was to say that in the second, though, you would use su instead of bu :)

u explaination is great but in Turkish \"su\" means \"water\".it will be probably \"şu\".u can install turkish lang. toolbar to ur comp. it\'s not too hard...lol

ok i\'ll level with you. i use public computers, i don\'t have nor want to have my own computer right now. so, unless you can find an online converter, its difficult and impractical to use turkish letters every time.
but you know the difference, since the subject was su.
