Champions of Peace!Ã¢â‚¬Å½ - a friend sent me this, and i would like to share with all you , i hopw you will like it:

Turkish LAnguage Olympics was held in Istanbul with 550 students from 100 countries. There were 9 categories for competition, reading, writing, poem, singing, art, special talent(playing an enstrumant, drama, stand up, etc.) They came from all over the world to compete in a friendly atmosphere, Their performances were great, they made us cry, most of the time when we watch the final.They made us more hopeful from the future of the world we live in. They come from Turkish colleges, schools and universities all over the world, and speak with the language of love, they become bridges between their cultures and the world. I would like to draw your attention to this event for this reason especially. Anyone who would like to watch from internet could go on to link and see, hopefully share my feelings like millions...Even it is in Turkish and you wouldn\'t understand a word, hope you feel the spirit of it...

The Olympics - It is something worth seeing, I agree with you giovy. I think the whole event is also a good reason (and a stimulant) to learn Turkish! It\'s a world language and is growing.
