| Kim bilir >>>Who knows - the phrase \"Kim bilir\", is gramatically has the same word order and structure, compared to \"Who knows\" in English: Kim >> Who bilir >> knows (third person singular) So, maybe you fall in love with Turkish, and plan a trip to İstanbul; Kim bilir? | |

| - I always wondering why they don\'t have the future tense for \"bilir\". They have it for sevmek (sever) gitmek (gider) and many other examples. so why not for bilmek? We do have this is tense in azeri though (biler). For example In azeri \"I can go\" would be \"gedebilerem\". | |

| It may be because of stative vebs - Especially in English and sometimes in Turkish we express our feelings in S.present ,because you can\'t limit your ideas and feelings at the time of speking or for future. So,S. present/geniş zaman includes present and future in it as structure but meaning can be related to either present or future. | |
