| - I made a search on net and found it :) Kuzu Kuzu Like a lamb Bak! Kirildi kolum kanadim / See! I became so down and broken Olmadi tutunamadim / It didn\'t go. I could not hold on. Zor! Yoklugun cok zor / Tough! So tough is your absence. Alisamadim / I couldn\'t get used to. Vur, vur bu akilsiz basi / Hit! Hit this foolish head Duvarlara taslara vur / on walls, on rocks sevabina / for a good deed. Sonra affet gel bas bagrina / Then forgive and come bury in your hug Suzuldum eridim / I got thin. I melted off Sensiz olamadim / I could not do without you Iste kuzu kuzu geldim / And now I came like a lamb Diledigince kapandim dizlerine / threw myself on your lap the way you wish Bu kez gururumu atese verdim / This time I set my pride on fire Yaktim da geldim / I burnt it and came Ister at, ister op beni/ Dump me if you wish, or kiss Ama once dinle bak gozlerime / but listen to me first, look into my eyes Inan bu defa / Believe me this time Anladim durumu tovbeler ettim / I realized everything, I repented Oooff oooff / Damn damn Aci biberler sur dilime dudaklarima / Rub my tongue and lips with hot pepper Iste kuzu kuzu geldim / And now I came like a lamb Diledigince kapandim dizlerine / threw myself on your lap the way you wish Bu kez gururumu atese verdim / this time I set my pride on fire Yaktim da geldim / I burnt it and came Ister at, ister op beni/ Dump me if you wish or kiss Ama once dinle bak gozlerime / but listen to me first, look into my eyes Inan bu defa / Believe me this time Anladim durumu tovbeler ettim / I realized everything, I repented Lyrics & Music: Tarkan Videoclip : YouTube - Tarkan Kuzu Kuzu | |

| Girdim yârin bahçesine - hello, people. may i add a song? this is my most recent song which i like....but the direct meaning...its fishy. i\'ll do my best to translate, being a begginer, maybe, and maybe someone can assist if they care to clarify? thanks. Girdim yârin bahçesine gül dibinde gülizâr Saçlarından kopan teller kaldı bana bergüzâr Yağma yağmur, esme rüzgar, yolda yolcum var benim Bak şu gönül çırpınıyor yaralı bir kuş gibi Bekliyorum gelmiyorsun sanki unutmuş gibi Yağma yağmur, esme rüzgar, yolda yolcum var benim i entered your lover\'s garden (don\'t understand why 2nd person is used intead of 1st--yarim) at the end of a rose --(don\'t know gulizar, i think its more ancient not in dictionaries? what does that mean?) a broken strand of hair remained as a memento for me (i think i have this line pretty well) chorus: the raining rain, the blowing wind, i have a companion on the road (literally yolcum is more like traveller, but this is my interpretation) look at this heart, fluttering like a wounded bird i am waiting, you are not coming as if it were forgotten that\'s all, basically i think the first part is a little confusing about the rose. thanks, though peace me | |

| - i think that i just answered it....yarin is possesive of garden? | |
| Osman | Sunday 03rd of December 2006 05:01:47 PM |
| - Let me give a hand, Pete(r) ;) You are a very good example of making-the-common-mistake. What mistake? Nouns vs. Negativity of Imperative Forms. **yağma yağmur, (there is a hidden ! here, since it is written language, it is difficult to understand that it is negative form of Imperative \"yağ\". But it can be understood from the context ;)) yağma yağmur >> don\'t rain esme rüzgar >> oh wind, don\'t blow **i really enjoyed with your interpretation of \"yolda yolcum var\". That\'s it. I think of what you wrote. :) Bravo! ** about yârin.. first of all, this â shows that this word has no Turkish origin. Yâr >> lover. Yarin is possesive of garden. The garden of lover :) You corrected it anyway. ;) **broken strands of hair ;) ** gülizar.. hmm..i think gülizar is the synoynm word of lalezar which means \"rose garden\". It is not Turkish word either. Hope this helps :) | |

| - hello, osman, thanks a lot! yes, that was very nice of you, great. yes, i never knew that about those vowel markings for foreign words, or maybe i forgot. either way, thanks! lale is a lily, so maybe its better to say lily-garden for lalezar? that way it makes more sense to have another word for rose garden. cool.... i still don\'t know if i get the meaning....ummmm, i entered my lover\'s garden, a rose at the end of the rose garden? but what is that saying? or maybe that last line ties into the location where he found strands of hair? isn\'t it funny to have white people analyze turkish songs? :) oh well what can i do.... so i take it that it signifies maybe a charm, his lover\'s hair which shall protect him from the weather as he travels? but the song is nice, because it implies a dismal sense of love, too, for he is travelling without his lover? thanks, again. wow, since you were good with answering, maybe i\'ll bother you with another song.... :) selamlar peter | |

| Gökyüzünde yalnız gezen yıldızlar - hey don\'t worry about i, osman, you do a lot. i don\'t mind. here\'s my next song to share and analyze :) Gökyüzünde yalnız gezen yıldızlar Yeryüzünde sizin kadar yalnızım Bir haykırsam belki duyulur sesim Ben yalnızım, ben yalnızım, yalnızım Kaderim bu, böyle yazılmış yazım Hiç kimsenin aşkında yoktur gözüm Bir yalnızlık şarkısı söyler sayım Ben yalnızım, ben yalnızım, yalnızım Tatmadığım zevk kalmadı dünyada Hangi kalbe girdimse kaldı izim Taşa geçer, kendime geçmez sözüm Ben yalnızım, ben yalnızım, yalnızım amidst the sky the stars wander alone on the face of the planet I am more alone than (any of)you (here\'s what i don\'t get) if i scream out, perhaps my voice will be heard (audible) (--i don\'t understand the usage of \"bir\" here) i am alone (x3) this is my fate, as such, my biography has been written my eye has nobody (held) in romance my enumeration (recounts) speaks a solitary song i am alone (X3) i have not tasted pleasure which has remained in the world to which, if i have entered a heart, my trace would remain (this part, and the next was fuzzy for me, i think tasa gecer is like an idiom) as it passes for a stone, my word does not pass to myself i am alone (X3) ok, that\'s it, good day, all. and you don\'t have to trouble too much to help osman, i can wait or someone else can arrive :) selamlar --me | |

| - Good to know that there are still some people who listen to Turkish music other than Pop. Unless they are written in ottman turkish, translating the lyrics of the classical turkish music is rather easy compared to pop which, is full of street language and idioms. \"Bir\" means once (or at once) in \" Bir haykırsam \" Sözüm taşa geçer - Even the stone listens to my words. Some corrections: It must be \" Bir yalnızlık şarkısı söyler saZım \" ( My instrument sings a solitary song ) Tatmadığım zevk kalmadı dünyada No pleasure has remained in the world which, I have not tasted. Görüşmek üzere | |
