Merhaba, ben burada yeniyim ... well, sorta ... - Hi!

I was on this board a while back, about a year ago, mostly on the Polish part, but occasionally around here. I didn\'t devote much energy to Turkish, because I don\'t have anyone to speak it with, and I am moving to Germany next year and decided to leave it till then to learn Turkish, but nearly a week ago, me being new to Skype, suddenly found myself chatting with a Turkish girl who speaks no English ... voilá, someone to practice with ... it\'s so frustrating at the moment because we don\'t understand each other, haha, but it\'s fun.

I LOVE the sound of Turkish.
Türkçe bence belki en güzel ses veren dil.

Anyway, I thought it\'d be polite to introduce myself (or maybe just self-centred ... hmmmm). I\'m going to try to be around here from now on.

I also wanted to share the best online English/Turkish dictionary I\'ve found yet. I found it today: http://www.turkishdictionary.net/

- Hoş bulduk! (yoksa \"hoş buldun\" mu ki yalnız geldim?)

Hem de Seslisozluk.com\'u kullanırım, ama it\'s sometimes a bit too cluttered and full of spelling mistakes. It can be really hard to find the right word among all the other ones it suggests.

And aaah! http://www.zargan.com tam türkçe ki, and I couldn\'t see where to enter a word to look it up - do you need to sign up first?

Teşekkürler!!

- Merhaba!

Evet we say \"hoş bulduk\" no matter how many persons are you with :) But, when you are welcoming, it changes.

Hoş geldin >> Welcome (you, singular and informal)
Hoş geldiniz >> Welcome (you, plural/formal-informal, singular/formal) :)

That\'s right, sometimes Seslisozluk sucks and they added google ads just under the words you found. i don\'t think it is nice but sometimes the dictionary works very well thanks to many alternatives. From Turkish to English, would fit you most i guess.

About Zargan..
